Clary Sage Essential oil is extracted from the flower tops and leaves of the perennial herb plant Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea). It has a strong, sweet, nutty aroma. The oil has a strong sedative effect. It is also prised for its hormone-balancing properties, especially for women,and is used for menstrual disorders, infertility, emotional problems, insomnia, anxiety, depression, muscle aches/pains, stress-related problems.
